Created in 1974, the plant has been part of the LISI group since 2000. Mellrichstadt is located in northern Bavaria, between Fulda, Würzburg and Erfurt. Today, it is one of the city’s largest employers.
Around 300 employees design, manufacture and market fasteners and connectors for the automotive industry.
The Mellrichstadt site specializes in the manufacture of clipped solutions for the automotive industry. These high-precision parts are produced by combining the technologies of plastic injection moulding and assembly.
Its core competences are the design and manufacture of injection molds. The plant is highly automated and has its own tool shop. In order to ensure quality, all parts are subject to 100% quality control at a high rate.
The Mellrichstadt plant is world-renowned for its excellence in the manufacture of clipped solutions and exports its products worldwide.
